CHARGING ECONOMICS

EV Drivers pay between R5 and R10 per kWh to charge their vehicle on public chargers

Electricity costs are around R3 to R4 per kWh

Insurance, Maintenance and Service provider fees work out to about R1 per kWh at scale

Chargers operating at a 40% utilisation would typically generate a healthy gross profit margin of about 30%
